Is it Mark, Kyle or will Jimmie show his hand at Vegas?

Mark Martin in Victory Lane two days in a row would be totally cool. Looks like Kyle is going to have to work a little harder to beat Mark’s winning record in the Nationwide Series, but does some of that momentum trickle into the Cup race today? Click here for this feel-good story.

Since Mark is my favorite driver I hope so, but Kyle had a disappointing day yesterday so maybe he has the advantage. And, of course, it is the Kobalt Tools 400 and Jimmie¬†Johnson is so good at this track maybe he’ll pull it off. Hmm.

If it works like it usually does those you practiced well will do well regardless of their starting position. In the second practice it went: Matt Kenseth; Kyle Busch; Ryan Newman; Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle as the top 5 fastest.

My fantasy picks (crossing fingers & toes!): Kyle Busch; Mark Martin; Kasey Kayne and Bobby Labonte. Side note: I’d love to see Jeff Burton do well this week.

Let’s go racing (clean racing, please!)
